On Monday night, emergency crews responded to a large fire at Dow Plant B in Freeport, TX. Emergency responders arrived on scene as they work to contain the blaze involving a large structure within the plant.

According to Dow Texas Operations website, this facility covers approximately 7,000 acres and is their largest integrated site. In a statement, the company notified the community they “may see smoke or hear emergency response vehicles.” No shelter-in-place orders have been implemented at this time.
